The promotion of artistic development and enrichment of cultural life of Ikaria by organizing artistic events.<br \/>\n2. The support of any kind of research concerning culture and the organization of scientific conferences.<br \/>\n3. The promotion of archaeological and historical monuments.<br \/>\n4. To promote the customs and tradition of Ikaria. To the support of folklore research on local myths, language and works of folk art, etc.<br \/>\n5. The publications of books and photo albums, event and promotional printed material supporting the organization&#8217;s activities.<br \/>\n6. Events promoting and strengthening of relations with the Greek diaspora. Attempt to create bridges of communication with the Ikarians of the diaspora. Supporting  artists who belong either to Ikarians of the diaspora or artists who promoting  the island with their works.<br \/>\n7.
