A journey through distant Thrace and its music, traditions, and pastures, featuring the award-winning film “Gaides Laloun,” as well as through Naxos, where we are introduced to the entertainer “Tigris from Apeiranthos,” in a film depicting the life of a shepherd and a tsambouna (bagpipe) player, both directed by Dimitris Kitsikoudis.
The screening will take place on Tuesday, August 11, at 9:00 p.m. at the old school in Magganitis. This event is being held in collaboration with the local cultural association of Magganitis residents, “O Magganitis,” as part of the Ikaria Film Festival.
