Herakles Lino Tesco is an architect and visual artist from Ikaria. He studied Applied Arts and Architecture at the University of Plymouth (BA, 2002) and completed his Diploma in Architecture at the University of Thessaly. Since 2008, he has been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and runs an architectural office and visual arts studio in Piraeus. He has been involved in business activities in the construction and tourism sectors. His visual work, rooted in painting and influenced by street art and graffiti, combines Neo-Pop aesthetics, architectural structure, vivid industrial colors, and humor messages, conveying multilayered political and social commentary. He has participated in exhibitions in Greece, Europe, and the USA.
Papakosta Vasilia

Vasiliki Papakosta is originally from Ikaria and graduated with a degree in Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her master’s at Maastricht University. In recent years, she has been working as a psychologist in the research field of cognitive neuroscience. She has participated in various initiatives aimed at the cultural development of the island of Ikaria and the preservation of the stories of the people who lived and continue to live there.

Nikoletta Georgakopoulou comes from Ikaria and Mani. She studied Art History and Film Studies (BA Combined Honours, 2003) at former APU, Cambridge (now ARU) and has completed a Postgraduate programme on Information and Communication Technologies in Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2008). She has worked and collaborated with visual artists as an exhibition curator in a variety of artistic venues and events. She is a documentary filmmaker and has also participated in independent film productions as an assistant director, production manager, editor, and cinematographer. At the same time, she works as a translator and subtitler, while also conducting film and stop-motion animation workshops for children.
Moulas Dimitris

Dimitris Moulas is from Ikaria. He is a film director with experience in directing, editing, and audiovisual production. He is a graduate of Film Studies of New York College and holds a BA from the University of Greenwich. He has worked with film production companies and participated in feature-length productions, while also directing experimental works, short films, and documentaries. His film “Cube” was screened at international festivals and won two Best Film awards. Since 2023, he has been the Artistic Director of the Ikaria Film Festival.

Haris Pamfilis is from Ikaria. He studied Medicine and specialised in Internal Medicine, serving at Laiko General Hospital, General Oncology Hospital ‘Agioi Anargyroi’, and the 251 Hellenic Air Force General Hospital. His private medical practice is in Nea Kifisia and has collaborated with private medical hospitals such as Hygeia, Euroclinic, Central Clinic of Athens, Kyanous Stavros, and the Athens Clinic, as well as SOS Doctors. Alongside his medical career, he is active as a visual artist in painting. He has held solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions and artistic initiatives in Greece. He has also contributed to the production of theatrical works and short films. Since 2024, he has been the Artistic Director of the Atheras Project.
