“The Journey of Askavlos” (2020), directed by Giorgos Arvanitis, will be the first ethnographic film to be screened as part of the FROM PLACE TO PLACE programme.
The screening will take place on Sunday, August 2, at 9:00 p.m. in the beautiful square of Akamatra, and we will have the honour and pleasure of welcoming the film’s director, Giorgos Arvanitis, who will join us for a Q&A following the screening. This event is organized in collaboration with the Akamatra’s Association “Kefala,” as part of the Ikaria Film Festival.
