INVITATION
The cultural organization of Ikaria:
Ikarian Events-Festival of Ikaria
has the special pleasure of inviting you to the first
presentation of the documentary “Nicaria in its circle festival“, which was implemented in order to record and
rescuing elements of the Ikarian festivals as part of it
intangible cultural heritage
of this special province of our homeland.
The documentary was financed by the Directorate of Youth
of Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture and
Sports after and since the recording of its celebrations
Ikaria in the National Index of Intangible Cultural Heritage
of Greece in accordance with the Convention
for the Preservation of its Intangible Cultural Heritage
Unesco.
The presentation and screening will take place
on Saturday, May 25, 2024 – 19:00
at the Spiritual Center of the Municipality of Athens,
Academia 50, in the Antonis Tritsis room.
